Since 2006, FYXO has embraced the spirit of the grueling Paris-Roubaix and created a classic of its own in the process. Melburn Roobaix is a ride, not a race, encouraging fun on bikes to bring out the ‘inner kid’ in everyone. A truly unique event attracting every branch of the cycling religion.
Event participants gather at a secret location, get a rider pack with an assortment of goods to complete the ride, along with many a keepsakes – but that’s only half the fun. The route you take and friends you make is what makes this event special.
After 10 years of good times, its place is cemented as a cult classic and icon of the city drawing fanatics from around Australia and the globe.

Bike to Bring: Hybrid, Cross , Gravel or MTB Bikes something with 30mm+ tyres but the choice is yours
Meet :Pakenham Station carpark Baldhill Rd Side or you will find us on the last carriage of the Pakenham bound train

DISTANCE: 85km it is a loop

This ride is only for those that can ride around 20-25kph this is dependent if there is a wind on the flat it follows a mix Of unpaved and paved Roads out to bunyip then up to bunyip state park ,this is a flattish ride please leave a contact number or email as you RSVP
Suit: Intermediate Advanced allow 6 hours for this ride
BRING: FOOD ,Water,spare Tubes, patch / tool kit and a sense of adventure
Cancellation: No trains ,lots of Rain ... alien invasion hmmmm

Ride up along the Maribynong river to Brimbank park for lunch then along the Western ring rd path then join the Federation trail down to Werribee
THIS WILL BE A FAST RIDE 20-25 kph
